HISTORY, SERENITY AND ELEGANCE OF THE OLD SOUTH: A mini-vacation destination.
BelleHavre at the Haughton-McIver House, circa 1842
Bed and Breakfast
Enjoy your stay in luxury! Oversized, pillow-top queen-sized beds await your stay in our deluxe suites, both rooms highlighted by original fireplaces. The second room doubles as a delightful bathroom/dressing room, ideal for bridal dressing needs or relaxing in a tub enjoying complimentary bath products. Gather in the guest foyer for refreshments or board games or enjoy your coffee on the private balcony. A southern-style elegant breakfast is served in our dining room, or romantically setup on a porch or veranda.
Weddings and Special Events
BelleHavre is a beautiful, historical venue site for weddings, receptions or special events. The Greek Revival and Queen Anne architecture lends to creating a romantic Southern wedding. Set up a Quartet on the balcony overlooking perennial gardens that easily accommodate decorative tents, exchange vows on the porch, or enjoy cocktails in the music room while listening to piano ballads played on BelleHavre’s baby grand piano. Many settings are available for wedding portraits throughout the house and grounds. Wedding planners are free to decorate to make your dream wedding or reception a reality. We are dedicated to making your special event, wedding shower, graduation, birthday, or retirement celebration an event to remember. Business Meetings
Plan your next business meeting, seminar, retreat, summer company picnic or Christmas party at BelleHavre, an environment of serenity and privacy. Wireless Internet service, computer, fax, and color printers are available.
