Glenda drops by to sit in a few class sessions as she makes herself a warm hat to be adorned with a rim of fun fur. Mary proudly displays one of her grandchilden's completed afghans. After years of making her afghan squares she rejuvinated her craft and wove the squares together to design her own frill edging after learning how to read and understand patterns. Good job Mary, it is a soft, colorful and long-lasting memory to your grandchildren. Margaret starts a similar afghan as a baby gift but it will be awhile before we present her completed project as she chose the finest of yarn for quite a delicate receiving blanket.

Class Members of the September 12, 2006 Series
Class participants share stories as they learn the craft of crocheting. The star of the session this time was Glenda as she displays her crocheted newborn hat and receiving blanket on one of BelleHavre's lifelike newborn dolls. What a beautiful job. Although the doll looked perfectly adorned, Glenda insisted she had to take the outfit home to her expected grandchild! Congratulations. Laura is working on a fancy afghan and Peggy has started a winter scarf. We look forward to sharing them on this page when complete.
